Population and Service Level

Camellia Oak Residence is licensed as a Level 6 Adult Residential Facility (ARF). We serve adults with developmental disabilities who require intensive staffing and specialized behavioral or medical support that cannot be met in lower-level settings.

Staffing Model & Clinical Oversight

Our program is built on a robust clinical foundation to ensure the highest standard of care.

• LVN-Supervised: Medical and daily care is overseen by our Licensed Vocational Nurse, ensuring precise medication management and health monitoring.
• Awake Overnight Staff: 24/7 dedicated support ensures safety, consistency, and peace of mind around the clock.
• High Staffing Ratios: Intensive Direct Support Professional (DSP) ratios tailored to the individualized needs of each resident.
• Experienced Leadership: Managed by an administrator with extensive background in developmental disability care.

Behavioral and Health Supports

We partner with specialized consultants—including BCBAs, dietitians, and psychiatrists—to execute comprehensive, person-centered plans. Our approach focuses on positive behavioral interventions, routine building, and dignity of risk.

Physical Plant

The environment is therapeutic by design. Located in a quiet Antioch neighborhood, the property features:

• Single-Occupancy Bedrooms: Private quarters for all 6 residents.
• Accessibility: Full ADA compliance including modified bathrooms and barrier-free common areas.
• Proximity to Care: Located near Kaiser Antioch for immediate medical access.
